Concerts/festivals '13

I'll be there. Well highly likely. No tickets or funds but I'm sure I'll end up there. It was the same weekend as waka last year so I didn't go but they're different weekends this year.

Thinking hangout(maybe)>scamp>waka>mt jam to start of the summer

Maybe, I went the last year it was on the mountain top.

Great time but there was some shady ass shit.

DEA, homeland security, saw a death, philly gas crew, and other stuff.

Walking out from the main venue across the camprgound as PL came on, everyone was at that. About halfway across the fest I see this wall coming at me. A wall of fog like fucking steven kings the mist. All the sudden it was right in front of me and then boom gone. I was in a cloud. Cool shit. Also the sunsets over the valley were amazing.

I went to the new venue last year for the werkout, really chill. Idk if I wanna go there for all good though.

Watch out for cops. Ohio fucking blows about that. And all goods been getting national attention for years.

Vibes and all good are back on different weekend this year so maybe I'll go.

Seriously though. DON'T DO STUPID SHIT IN OHIO.There's the rules for driving to fests regardless, tighten them up a little bit because ohio doesn't fuck around.

Anyone going to the Peach Festival in Scranton? ABB, Bob Weir, Black Crows, Grace Potter, Railroad Earth, Rusted Root, and mor.e

This will probably be a long shot but is anyone going to Pinkpop in Landgraaf, Netherlands? Im attending during my euro trip.

Saw Kings of Leon will be at Governors ball, that is pretty sick. However, traveling 3 days there with hotel cost..yeah right

I'm a pacifist, but I will buy you a beer if you want. I'm going with my younger sister. And the answer is NO, you cannot hook up with her.

Fair enough, I would like to buy you a beer also, and maybe let you pop a molly as sweat a lil. How old is said sister? Link to instagram or facebook would be nice, pictures would work too. I just wanna make sure if I run into you guys I can recognize, ya know...

Illicit drugs just aren't my thing. She graduates from Loyola Chicago in May. I'm sure you can figure out that math.

But in all seriousness... Osheaga and whatever is coming to Toronto.

jambase.com bro

Shits pretty sick. Also there are newspapers you can snag up at some fests that have pretty much everything small or big listed with the date so you can plan your summer.

Sled Island and Calgary Folk Fest for sure. Maybe Winnipeg or Regina Folk Fest if I can get the time off.

Lineups are only just starting to get revealed so we'll see. I doubt I'll bother with a full pass for Sled this year, I find I don't move around much so it should be cheaper to get a Mainstage pass and head to the Legion every night. Just so long as I get to see Jesus and Mary Chain and Explosions in the Sky.

montreal is blessed with concerts every weekend so i wont name those. however, for the next month, im going to mat zo, mord fustang, bakermat, nina kraviz and huxley.

and april 1st, danny tenaglia is spinning a 15 hour set (noon to 3am) at stereo. any montrealer who likes tech house/deep house needs to be there!

for big festivals, im 80% doing tomorrowland. and then also electric zoo, veld, and maybe tomorroworld.

I'm jealous! Such good vibes!
One of my buddies saw him play a few months ago, apparently he had a live saxophonist and every single person there was going crazy.

Word I think they were still relatively new the only time I saw them. They were the random smaller opener before thrice alkaline and rise against.

I think I missed most of their short set though cause I got out late from washin dishes. They're pretty good. I'm def down with people listening to music instead of dial up sound/transformer exploding dj's

Not too sure what a big band is ya know..they sold out 3 shows in a row in nyc last November so pretty legit and also local to the area.

Also not too sure what the scene is. All alt rock to me

Yeah that's legit. That's doin work. And I just haven't been listening to anything alternative in a while. I mostly just end up at the jam shows.

I think it's safe to say that they're a big band in the states and the UK within their scene (HWM, Against Me, all that stuff), but they're not that big in Europe.

Red Ants Pants Festival

Merle Haggard is the headliner. Might not be the sickest music ever, but its a cool festival in White Sulphur Springs.

Nina Kravitz is the shit, saw her in Montreal for Piknic Elektronic last summer. Plus, if you are from Montreal, you have to go to MUTEK. Went last year, Jeff Mills, and Wolf & Lamb during Piknic Elektronic was amazing. And you've got the Piknic all summer, then Igloofest in winter...Montreal really does have an awesome scene.

Phish tour as per usual.....

.....Probably selling my Bisco tickets because it sucks now.....

.....and going to Del Fest and some various other festivals (Summerdance, Catskill Chill) that I will decide on the fly....

Been to a bunch of local gigs so far. I saw yonder mtn back in January then went to the Sunshine blues fest, one of the best music festivals I've been to by far, I just got tickets to see bad religion in Seattle in a fee weeks.
