Concern about pivot 15 bindings not fully clicking in

I recently got pivot 15s but I think there might be a problem. Whenever I put my boots on and step into the bindings it doesn’t make a loud snappy pop like I would think and the heel piece also doesn’t seem fully locked in. What I mean by that is that the heel piece wiggles back and forth a little bit. also I don’t know if this information helps but my boots have grip walk. If anyone knows if this is an issue or if this is normal I would appreciate if you could let me know. Thanks.

Are they gripwalk bindings? You could also have snow stuck to the bottom of your boots, I’ve had that problem before

They sound defective, don’t worry I’ll take them off your hands. You don’t even have to pay me!

Could be the forward pressure, is the white tab lined up with the two dots behind the heel when the boot is in?

send a vid if you can. pivots click in pretty damp but you should know if your properly in or not

I think I fixed it. All I did was loosen those two screws on either side of the heel piece and that seemed to let the boot have enough room to snap in place

the white tab does not indicate forward pressure

Yes it does? The manual says to get it lined up with the two black lines and then tighten til you can't easily rotate the heel with the boot in the binding.

The tab is look’s official way to check forward pressure. Although I think most would agree it’s not the most accurate way to measure fwd pressure
