I have some concepts. They're pretty good on groomers. They only have a 72 waist. Pretty stiff so not much buttering. And I just bought fuji's, they look pretty good.

'Duran Duran bought Armada, Armada bought Microsoft, Microsoft bought MSP and AOL, AOL owns Time4 which owns the MountainSportsMedia which owns SKi, Skiing and RIP Freeze... so Armada now owns McDonalds and Coke.

so are they still decent skis??!?! i ski east coast so they dont need to be thick skis.....better than say fujis? whats any of your opinions????

Concepts were not stiff by any means.

My 165s are soooo soft it's not even funny.

Maybe it's because they're 165 and beaten to shit that they're so soft... I dunno.

Either way, I loved the skis when they were a good size for me. They don't have a huge twin, but it's enough to ski switch and land switch.

well id go for scratchs and fujatives over concepts....but if u really loves the skis then go for it

Jeepers Creepers, where'd you get the neat sneakers?!?!

hehehe giggle giggle giggle

Like all Dynastar skis, they are really springy (i.e. the have a lot of life.) The topsheet will crack, but do you ski on the tops of your skis? If you're looking for a thin twin tip, I would recommend them.

My topsheets are very cracked. idk about anyone elses, but mine seem very stiff. Atleast compared to older 1080's. My tips have delammed, so I can't say much about durability. I'd get fuji's for cheap.

Mine are great, theyre perfect for everything. However, i just realized that the dumbass techs couldnt set the jig on the ski correctly - so the bindings are in different places (+/- 3 mm). I gotta get em redun, but then theyll be sweet again.

Yea i got a pair but i just took out an edge on one of them for hittin up all the rails while i was in whistler...but they aren't so bad...i just ordered some scratches and i'm pumped to ski those next year.

dynastar has been known to have durability issues when it comes to rails, so keep that in mind.

They have sub par durability when it comes to rails. Also keep in mind that the back isn't fully tipped, and harder to ride switch

I used my pair at least 20 days this season in Ontario. They are fun skis. Lighter and more forgiving then my mad_trix, though not as stable in rough snow. They have the same wacky sidewall/cap hybrid thingy that their race skis use (or used to use) so they behave fine at speed/on edge.

I haven't taken them on metal rails so I can't say anything about durability. I think the durability problem was with the Trouble Makers.

The racing atelier thing?

Is that referring to how it's cap around the tip and tail, but sidewall the rest of the way?
