Concept v. Volkl V

I am trying to decide wether to buy the new Dynastar Concepts or Volkl V expressions, both in 178. If anyone has skied one or both please give me some feedback. If they're pretty much the same ill go with the concepts, because i can get them cheaper, but otherwise which is better?

The Volkl V Expression is soft and made for intermediate skiers. The tail is hardley turned up. The Legend or Pro would be a better comparision.

The Concept rocks!

Thats cool, the Legend is def better, but the Pro is where it is at, kinda big but rides awsome. I did like the Legend though. They are VERY similar (Legend vs Concept)

i dont know if you know this or not but the 178 concept is really 180, so they arnt really the same size but you wouldnt notice the differance either way

hey fakie, i know the v pros are sweet, but i live in southwest michigan, where there is no need for a wide ski. Thanks for the help anyway.

Plus v-pros are additionally heavy. V-expressions are forgiving, so if you suck, or are just begginning, these would be for you. They also aren't too bad on powder, and are pretty soft. For the heavier, more experienced, go for v-legend, or concept 178(this years has a ver very similar feeling to the candide, and i hear that some of them are the exact same except graphics)

Go with the concepts , Ive been riding on them for 3 years and their amazing at everything. Real Nice in the backcountry and awsome in the park. Go with them!

 
i have last years volkl v's in 178. i love them. they kick ass everywhere i've skied them. they ski so much better than the 1080's. i've never skied the concepts though everyone i know who has loves them. if you want a better ski for all mountain go with the volkl though, it is wider and stiffer.
