ok, so when i opened my internet this morning there was no bar 2 put in addresses. i have no fuckin how this happened, i've tried everything i no 2 get it back......which really isn't a whole lot. anybody no how 2 fix this shit?

the shortcut key is F11, try that you should get the whole top os the browser back

yea i no what u mean about when its fullscreen, but its not in that mode. its just normal but without the address bar

You said navigation bar, not address bar. If you get yours right next time, I will not have to correct you.

More than likely it's a result of spyware or something relating to it. Alot of times spyware/trojans encounter errors or overwrite internet explorer files.

Your best bet is to:

1. Scan and remove spyware. Download and use any or all of the following:

Ad-aware, Microsoft Anti-spyware beta, Hijackthis, Spybot search and destroy, Avg free (mainly antivirus but does pick up alot of trojans), pest patrol, and spyware doctor.

All great programs. Some of the programs require that you register the program in order to actually remove all of the detected sypware/trojans.

Your solution is to either a.) be a good citizen and pay for it legally. or b.) search serials.ws / astalavista.com / crackspider for a serial number or crack.

Also, if you've gone to view, toolbars, and selected the adress bar/navigation bar/etc. and it's still not coming up... You can try reinstalling your browser.

If you are on a windows based machine with Internet explorer, good luck! It can be a pain in the ass to remove or reinstall it. You can try downloading it from microsoft.com or reinstalling it from your original xp cd.

Or you could try downloading firefox or netscape. If those programs are the browser you are having trouble with, then try re-installing them from their company's website.

If you are on a mac, good luck. Not my area of expertise.

if you are having troubles browsing at all to go download the programs said above...Ctrl-O will bring up the Page Open Dialogue

can you surf by going to start->run->type in 'www.google.ca' ??

if so, go to another website (like www.getfirefox.com) and install it and forget about IE
