Computer speaker problem.

Alright well i am having a problem with my speakers. For some reason they wont make any sounds from like movies/music but it will make the computer noises. Obviously it is plugged in. Did i click a preference that i wasn't supposed to and if so how do i change this.

When i go into the sound and audio device window, it says that there isn't an audio device in their.

If its a software issue you should probably download and re-install your sound card drivers, a nice clean quick fix that will most likely fix it

i also have a problem if anyone could help

my internet connection keeps fading in and out. like every 5 seconds it flashes that a network cable is unplugged.then a second later its all better. but if im trying to load a page or download something it ruins it and i have to restart and it does it so much, like out of every ten minutes it will just have one minute where it does that.

^^mine does that too. not that often tho. it has something to do with the dsl box and the router.

i downloaded vista and it screwed up my speakers and stuff, don't buy vista!!!
