ok so my moms getting a mac

im getting her old toshiba laptop

im gonna reinstall windows i think, but.. idk how

and...

it wont let me log onto myspace, my email etc. is that macafees fault?

just google reformatting your hard drive. its not hard to do it so you should be sweet even if you dont do much with computers. theres a ton of how to guides out there

if i remove mcafee will that let me log into stuff though?

well thats antivirus isn't is? its unlikely to be the one stopping you. theres probably a site blocker running aswell

just put the windows CD in your drive and restart, it should boot from it and it will walk you through the instalation

yea, reformatting isn't that hard, but make sure you have all of your drivers on a disk (one probably came with the computer) to reinstall.
