Computer help.

okay so i have an external hard drive. and a bunch of movies and shows on my computer that i want to move to the external.

i try click and dragging but t wont let me do that

im not very good with computers.

i have a 500 gig seagate

and a mac book pro.

how do i transfer files over so that they are only on my external?

make time machine, backup ur computer?

maybe format ur HDD and try again. (but it will erase everything thats on it now)

Have you tried reformatting it?

Also make sure your external hard drive is NOT in read-only "mode."
