Computer help ??

my speakers arent working and i dont know how to fix them. does anyone know how i can get them to work?

thats a pretty vague problem description, go into more detail.. are they new speakers that you just plugged in? did they just stop working randomly?

they arent new and they have been working fine. then the other day i tried to play music and no sound came out. i know they are plugged in bc the little green light thing is on

plugged into where exactly? your soundcard? or your motherboard?

idk. where ever speakers are normally plugged into? like the two smaller ones are plugged into a bigger one and then that one is plugged into something else but i guess that doesnt really help

go into volume control....make sure nothing is muted

this may take a while, cause the thing is plugged into the thing thats plugged into the other thing, that helps a ton

start > all programs > accessories > entertainment > volume control

like the other guy said make sure nothing it muted or turned down really low. thats all i can think of if the green light is on.

usually i use a chainsaw to just open up my tower and see whats going on in there
