You need to telephone "Dr. Ron" He done fixt up ma compooter real goood. But seriosly, you probs have some virus, or ,maybe your Norton Protection service has expired, so telephone Norton maybe. But if you have a virus, which seems very feasable, then you need to wipe your computer clean of all files, and completly re-register it, so Its like a brand new computer. Its worth it, but alot of money, $250. But if you have a virus, then its worth it.

yea dont download porn thats just stupid theres always viruses attached to it. but right now i dont know does it have sme thing tht just scans ur comp and gets rid of all the viruses and infected files? i have AVG 7.0 and its amazing u press one button and it will search and destroy every virus

NS SKATEBOARD

Norton is no good, way to heavy on yr system,

use AVG or Anitvir way lighter & way Better

I got rid of Norton & all my problems were solved, it really slows up a computer & way too many alerts

trust me AVG is the way to go, its always searching

in real time and it found stuff Norton could not find or know about

and it is free

Stress will get you nowhere,

I know companies would like the public to think that viruses are the cause of all problems, but that rarely is the case. Less than 1% of the computer problems I come across are virus related (what programs like norton would fix). (Spyware/popups/backdoor trojans are a different story though.)

As suggested, I wouldn't use norton. Norton completely takes over your computer and does more harm than it does good. It blocks what you want, and lets through everything you don't. It also hogs up all your system resources by running a huge amount of processes in the background. It's completely unneficent.

Nod32 is one of the best antvirus programs I've come across. There's a reason why huge coprorations use it to protect their servers. Because it works. It's fast, clean, and simple. AVG is also decent.

As far as the reminder popping up, it's probably just norton acting all crazy as usual. They like to harass you if your virus definitions are out of date or subscription expired.

The music is probably skipping because all of your resources are tied up.Close any processes you have running on your computer that you don't need.

You can do a quick spyware check with www.adaware.com or microsoft antispyware from microsoft.com (figuring you are on a xp based machine)

Uninstall norton. That should free up some memory and get rid of that annoying message. problem solved.

I fix computers for a living. PM me directly with whats going on, I might be able to help you out

you're not the only one. I am a computer technician/network admin and do alot of work for comcast.

there's also a few other guys on here who work in the computer industry. But that is cool if you are trying to help. not many people do.

ya avg free. but from what i think your saying is that MS is telling you that your puter is not protected. that means you just need to dissable the built in security in windows xp (i suggest this, it is instead of a anti vrius program, and a whatever software firewall you may have and becuase it is made by MS it sucks) do you have WIN XP SP2? if not, ignore my advice, except the avg free part...
