Computer guys - Vista desktop disappeared

Hey good with computer NS guys,

I was browsing YouTube the other day, and when I closed the browser, my whole desktop was gone. Icons, recycle bin, everything. I'm hoping it's not a virus or at least it can be recovered.

Also, when I go to my Desktop folder in Windows Explorer, it shows all my desktop files that i had. I tried dragging (copying) onto the Desktop, but nothing.

So maybe I crashed the process that runs my Desktop somehow?

In that case, i suggest deleting system 32.

System 32 is the spy and malware Microsoft installs with Vista. Delete it, then open up command prompt and run C:/ to access your program files and create your shortcuts again.

well first off, your main problem is probably that you are running vista...

Okay, my CPU usage is running around 80% to 90%, computer is lagging, and whne I go to WIndows Task manager, it doesn't show the CPU usage like it used to. I tried clicking the menu bar, but nothing happens

it takes a lot of power to run it. 7 is basically what vista was supposed to be, but vista was rushed.
