Ok im doing this post at school so anyway my dad left town for two weeks and i decided to look at lots of porn. Then my computer crashed and i got it restored and everything but i cant get the internet to work. I have Aol and it says everytime that it cant find my modem well my modem is built in the back of my computer and when i try and find the modem of there is like a million to chose from.

first of all your dad already knows you look at porn anyways cause im sure hes not dumb... and second of all, like somene else said im sure yor dad looks at porn too... so dont worry about it. but to answer your question, just because the modem doesnt work doesnt mean your dad will know you were looking at porn... the two have absplutely no correlation with eachother. and a way to potentially fix it is go into the system BIOS and make sure the modem is turned on. once you get there you can just follow the instructions. to get into the system BIOS is different for every make of computer but its usually by pushing either F2 or F8 repeadidly while the computer is starting up.

Oh i see i was at my friends house and he went to put in www.????? and then all this porno shit was in the address bar and he was a freckin out saying he didnt look a porno and then we found out it was his dad after he deleted the history then it was full of porno the next day

I get blamed for my Dad looking at porn. And the funniest thing is my Mom has no idea how to figure out that he's looking at it, and she doesn't even care.

I've been sitting around before and told her ''Mah, you'll never guess the sick shit I found today...'' she laughs, and thinks I'm twisted - oh well, sanity is boring.

 
fuck all of that bios shit. most likely you just need to find the drivers for your modem. Even if it's an onboard modem you still need the proper drivers for it.
