Computer games to download

i dont know a whole lot about computers but i do know that i enjoy playing computer games. Anybody have any suggestions on games i should download. My computer is pretty shitty so nothing amazing. But if anybody had any suggestions it would be appreciated.

links to downloads would be awesome, and i can't play games that are mainly online because at my school i can't connect to servers.

i think that you can probably find one on youtube, there are usually videos that show how to download games and have links in them.

Team Fortress 2 from Steam (it's free) - Can usually run this game off a toaster so it should work for you.
