Comps

i think they are the only resorts in the world that have a big air but no rail. they usually have one at customer appreciation day though, thats at the end of the year. i dont know how much that place actaully "appreciates" customers though
 
pns will have some comps that will throw down for sure, you should check out the mwx too, even though it can be a bit shady at times.
 
Yea im not a huge fan of MWX but i also attended the Mad River stop!! And Mad River fucks everything up worst jump ever!
 
most of us live about 15-20mins from bmbw and drive an hour to snowtrails over going to BMBW. BMBW sucks. You'll have more fun at snowtrails.
 
^this kid knows a lot of people who know their shit. And PNS will have some sick comps this year. We have that new staircase, so thats like, the ultimate rail jam feature. And the big air should be a good time. MWX was fun last year, with the exception of Mad River... and Hidden Valley wasn't the greatest, but it was fun being in St. Louis.
 
Definitely try to get to snowtrails if you can, but it is a lot farther. if you only go to snowtrails once this year make it for the big air/ rail comps. As far as bmbw goes there is a big air comp at brandywine usually the first week in february and a big air comp at boston mills usually the first week in march. There is a slight talk of a rail jam this year at one of the resorts, but that would make to much sense so i doubt it would happen.
 
last year...snow trails had the comp where their jumps was lined w/ torches...well wut was that comp called..and wen is it...are they doin it again???????
 
the first one was the mountain dew big air and the second one was just big air. they usually have 2 comps a year
 
the snowtrails big air i went to was a couple years ago and was sicker than all get out. perfects should have some quality competetions you should make an effort to get to. tom price is staying here this year and will be the head park guy, so the park should be super sick at all times, definately worth checking out.
 
BMBW Comps rock, i was watching one last year and some dude did a iron cross grab. It was AWESOME!!! I heard if you win you get this wicked cool trophy too!
 
When is snowtrails two comps usually, if Im home, its only a 4 hour drive to make ti to a comp. Either of them in Late Dec, Early Jan?
 
Snowtrails first big air/rail jam will probably be the 3rd weekend of january. I am just throwing that out there....i havent talked to anyone and i doubt anything has been set...but last year it was the 22nd....so thats an educated guess.

The second one is usually during Carnival....I have no clue when carnival is...but i can tell you that its a rockin' good time. The party after the first big air is more than worth the trip....we rent this big party house that is literally slopeside and just toss people off the balcony all night...its a wild time.
