All air compressor manuals say not to use and extention cord, but it doesn't really matter if you do or not.

Does the big red thing turn. Because if it does i think it controls the air pressure.

Sorry if I am not much of a help but I can't tell much from your picture. Just play with your air compressor till you figure it out!

Does the air compressor build any pressure when you run it?

If not then most likely the drain valve on your air compressor is open.

There should be a drain valve on the tank somewhere. The drain valve is used to drain

water that might have gotten into the tank.

Make sure the drain valve is closed then try to play with the big red thing some more, because if the red thing turns it just has to be to adjust the pressure.

Good luck,

Dan

eh, looks like I didnt. okay, about the oil, notice in the picture the part that has the glass covering the oil? its only half full. theres no dipstick or anything to tell me how much oil I need in there. so how much oil do use. The maual says to 'pull out the oil ruler filling N32 machine lubricating oil to the oil hole till the stipuiated level in winter. while in summer using n64 . then insert the oil ruler back in, plugg the power cand operate the compressor without load, check if it operates properly.'

first off there is no 'oil ruler' and it appears as if theres a small amount of oil in the compressor already, but very little. basicly, should I put more oil in. and I dont have N32, so will any type work really? thanks!
