Comprehensive thread on Marijuana legalization: your opinon.

at Pface, that's amazing. I guess you'd have to try that to understand what driving like that is like.

If weed is legalized and becomes significantly cheaper in California, its just going to start a "green rush" to the state. Anyone on unemployment will see an easy opportunity to get weed for very cheap and sell it at great profit in the midwest or on the east coast.

And if you think that it'll end "drug dealing", you're kind of dumb. Sure it'll make it that way in California, but California will simply become the easy source for drug dealers who won't have to get their shit from Mexico anymore. It'll spread across the whole US, unless they establish some kind of California border patrol haha. It needs to be legalized on a national level for it to be successful.

On a side note, apparently weed is already legal in Oakland, since I heard about a place that sells to anybody over 18 and they have a whole lounge area with call of duty and other activities.

Hahah "green rush."

I've never thought about that, that's interesting. Maybe if it's legalized, prices will drop?

I mean if dealers can get it much cheaper, maybe they'll sell it wayyy cheaper as well?

That better not happen. There are too many people here already causing traffic and shit. And yeah Oakland has the whole "Oaksterdam" thing going on, its pretty cool. Apparently if you have a doctor's recommendation and you are flying out of Oakland airport, they will allow you to bring weed with you, and not notify whatever airport you are flying in to that you have it.
I think if California legalizes, and thats a big if, not much will change. People will open stores similar to the clubs we have now, and a lot of people will make a lot of money. The DEA will occasionally come and be dicks and illegally raid our legal institutions. Only difference is people won't need some false medical reason anymore. Honestly I'll probably get in to the business. I saw how easy it was to make money during the big medical boom before they cracked down and closed all but the original clubs.
Doesn't make a difference to me though, more competition = better prices.

From what I've heard, that "green rush" is already happening in CA and CO. Also, who actually smokes that shit from Mexico?

Sure its happening, but on a much smaller scale than it otherwise would. Still, think about it, if you go to a club nowadays they charge anywhere from $280 to $400 for an oz. Thats more expensive than street prices. There are people who already do that, but their ain't that much profit in that. The people who make money are the ones who go to Humboldt and pick up a pound for like 2800 and take it elsewhere. I knew kids who use to double their money on ounces by just taking it to the desert in Nevada. Now think is the prices dropped to say $100 or less. Now the profit incentive shoots up, especially if you can sell that for $55 to $60 and eighth in the midwest or the eastcoast. Plus, whats to stop anybody and everybody from just growing in the forest (granted lots of people already do) but now the risks have gone away almost entirely.

ill end this thread right now.

the majority of marijuana comes from out of country. the government makes no money from it so they ban it.

/thread.

\thread.
If the government didnt have a ban on it, there would be job opportunities, such as farmers. Thus helping to stimulate the economy.

It wouldn't be characteristic of Obama's totalitarian regime for people to have the right to do what they want with their lifes.

Fuck both parties.

False majority of marijuana comes from inside the country. Smuggling Cannabis is twice as hard as it once was. The amount of cannabis coming out of Nor'cal has tripled in the past 4 years. Any one who does not think this is the gold rush of our generation is a fool.
