mine stays on...every so often i'll shut it down to give it a break, but i'm a fucking slave driver, i'm not too keen on breaks.

i used to leave it on all the time but whats the point really?

it wastes so much power its unbelievable, drawing 350W to power my MB, video card, 3 cd drives, 2 hard drives. its maxed out haha. plus my last mobo crapped out after 2 years because i left it on 24/7

BIOS = Basic Input/Output System, its the builting software that determines what the CPU can do. it controls display, keyboard functions, serial communications, disk drive and MANY MORE.

i programmed all this shit in my Digital systems III class last quarter, and i can tell yo assemble language is harsh and stupid coding haha.

wipe the BIOS... and update it.
