okay so after the riser incident at my local shop..i go back..they bring the skis out and the first thing i see..the writing is upside down..they mounted my skis upside down..its unblievable how incompetent these people are who claim to be able to work on skis.

Wait they really put the bindings on the bottom of the ski, like if you put the skis on the ground with the bindings up, they'll be upside down? If so, that's incompetence at it's highest level. So I guess they completely ruined your skis huh, what were they? Pics?

lol no..i guess i didnt explain it very good..they put em on backwards...like the bindings facing the wrong way..wow if they put em on the bottom of the ski then..Idk wat id say..wow..that'd be hard to believe.

surface watch lifes..technically i guess it'd be okay if they were a 100 percent symmetrical ski..but i dont think they are.

they said they gotta see a receipt for em..i was like..wtf..cuz i didnt buy the skis from a dealer..and they are last years models..so ya..really gay..they obviously didnt charge me.

A shop did that with mine once, long ago. I didn't really mind because I was young and the second mount on new skis wasn't that big of a difference.

If they're new skis (and obviously you should push for whatever you can get, but) don't sweat it. 2 mounts on a ski isn't bad, and as long as you bought them new and you're not a 400 pound big mountain ripper, you should be okay.

Still, push for new ones though. That'd be sick because you'd get two pairs of rideable skis out of the deal.

Now you've learned your lesson. Always assume that the shop is basically full of retards (no offense). Measure the stuff out yourself and label it and make sure they KNOW what you want - that way they're liable

we've got some old straight skis laying around the shop, maybe ill mount them on the bottom, just for kicks.

that being said, flip shit. a shop by me eyeballed the mount on a pair of griffons, they have no jig, no template. fuckers were not centered on the ski and mounted in two different places. you've got to be fucking kidding me. we remounted them, called the other shop as backing, and he got the money back for his skis

okay..well..so my pro shop isnt gonna be open again till next weekend..so i think ima email em..wat shud i say regarding new skis.?

Kindly put me in a position where I own the same skis but without mismounted holes. You ruined the skis, and i deserve to be reimbursed for that error.

I guess you could look at a store credit to the value of the skis or something.

Bottom line is that i wouldn't expect anything less than a new pair of skis out of them.

not your problem. they should replace them with this years then. mebbe they should have thought about that before they were complete fucking retards

haha it says watch life series right where they mount the skis. if they got that upside down then they are fucking idiots.

dude, you're getting new skis!!

Hey you bought those from me right? Ill send you a recipet form them from my shop for say 275 or 300 and then have them buy you a new pair and I will send you a pair of this years watchlifes.

When I had my first training years ago the guy teaching the course had an old pair of Dynastar straight skis that someone had tried to mount upside down (holes in the base). Classic.
