I was thikning aobut enetering some comps this winter, i can to 7's fronts and backs, am i good enough or will i just get destroyed..?

i think comps really put alot of pressure on you to progress... two of my buddies entered comps and learned the tricks they won with like an hour before the comp

Yeah, i entered every comp this winter. But we had a 13 and under division so it was easy to win. But even if you don't win it is fun. Just hangin out, jammin to music on the snow, and lotsa ppl jsut going off!

 
You wont win anything, but you can learn alot, get confidence, and have a ton of fun, plus youy can meet alot of people who can help you progress, whish is the most important thing.

yeah i want to try and enter a few comps this year even though i stand no chance of winning i just want to see what its like to compete

all ski comps at my mountain are really weak, the most skiers we had in a comp was like 8 and only me and one other kid are trhowing down.

Dude comp days are the most fun day at the hill. Everyone's amped and feeds off eachother's energy, we had a jam session style comp this year and so many people just threw down, especially a lot of firsts, like i landed my first cork 7, the big guys threw down switch cork 9, almost cork 10's, switch rodeos, and we even had a oldschool train. Yea definitely enter comps as long as you know the atmosphere is going to be good.

 
yeah go in it, i entered in a comp last year and just before it was my turn I bailed because i felt i had no tricks to match. the guy before me was chris booth, the best thing aussie skiing has seen, before him was the uk freestyle team. they threw rodeos, mistys, booth did a dspin seven. This totally freaked me out, the best thing i have is a 3, or 180 grab. so i ran off and hid in the crowd. then the guy called my name out and i wasnt there. then chris booth went again and did a 180 mute, i was like fuck i could have done that. it was a good experience entering in it but i wish i hadnt bailed, even if you do a straight air your better than a guy that is just watching.

 
yeah dude- its pretty much just a dspin/cork competition between timbo and me. kinda sucks, but its always good to beat timbos ass

Definitely go and have fun. Its great to see everyone so amped, and thats easy to feed off of. Anyways its really fun, no one judges you, but if they do fuck em.

yeah but never ever bail on the comp, you will have a sick time it also helps with your confidence heaps and its a great way to spade chicks
