I am just starting to put toghther my promo and i added a clip showing me blowing a hoot into the camra, now i thought that this wouldnt be a bad idea cause really if the companys are gonna be represented by me they myswell know who i am since everyother person that sees me ski knows i smoke. And i think that if they arnt gonna sponcor me for who i am then maby i shouldnt even try... but anyways what is everyone else opinions on this?

bad infulence for kids it is. heck watching Evan Raps in ski movie, makes it all look cool. I have enevr smoked a thing. Then again, not a lot of real little kids watch ski movies. Mostly 12 and up, so they know what's going on i imagine.

that's funny man, I've thought about that as well. I mean, it's not like if I somehow got sponsored (even though I suck) I would be able to just stop blazing when I'm riding (and when I'm not). If I were you though I'd leave it out of the video and try when you start talking to people face to face start trying to gauge what kind of response they'll have. Better yet, wait till you've signed with them and then lay it on them. Lastly, as a skier who's usually ripped, I'm always stoked when I see riders in videos and comps when you know they're high as hell and they just lay it down because it gives me the illusion that there's some hope for me yet.

I would take it out, you dont need to find a company that supports smoking, if your getting a ski sponsership. there not going to care anyways, so your just hurting your chances keeping it in.

it's not worth taking the chance. how shitty would you fell if they replied and said 'you're a great skier, we would love to sponsor you, but we don't support illegal activities such as smoking weed'? if i were you i'd take it out, you have a better chance of getting sponsored that way. it wouldn't help anyways, i don't think they're gonna sponsor somebody just cause they smoke weed

Ski companies look for an image, They look for an image that would appeal to everyone and that is cool. So if you think smoking is cool and that everyone likes it you should put it in.
