can anyone recommend a reliable, smaller sized pickup truck similar to a volkswagen rabbit? any info is helpful. i don't know anything about cars and i'm starting to work towards buying one. danke scheon

I second this. Well I had the 3rd gen with the carbureted 22r. I also had a celica with the fuel injected one though.

the truck would only do like 100km/h tops but would climb mountains. It also was so rusty that I needed to use a tarp to keep snow in the back for urban sessions. Both engines went close to 400k and for all I know could still be going.

subaru baja however id never drive one

yeah i won't drive one of those. i guess toyota might just be the way to go. i'm really just aiming to have a bed in the back to fit skis, surf boards, and be able to lay down comfortably in it.

why not just get a little compact suv that you can fold the back seats down and maybe get a ski rack if you take a lot of people

It probably helps if you tell us what region youre in. For USA toyotatacoma for sure or if somewhere else toyota hilux(if they carry that) if you're euro look somewhere else for data if its all us peeps going tooooyyoooota or god forbid ford...

i will be living in park city over the summer when i plan to buy it but i go to school in san luis obispo cali4nia.

1st gen Toyota, they're bad fuckin ass and chicks dig em.

Super simple, tough as nails and cheap to fix. 20r is a great motor too, gets about 20mpg and runs out fine, theyre pretty torquey lil guys.
