So my Dell Studio wont charge, it just stays on AC power all the time and I cant figure out how to get it to change to DC. Its probably a very simple fix but I cant figure it out.
Any help would be great. I tried Dell FAQ's and the help program on my laptop.

idk it wont let me charge my battery on my laptop it only maintains the current level its at. and it says that its running on AC power.

 
^^^^first you need to check dells website and see if theres a newer version of the bios to download. then go to the start up set up menu and flash the bios
