who thinks some of the things the people say are hilarious. especially if they don't know the trick they just make up random words
 
my friend would just call every rail a skier did a super ski slide, or some variation of that.
was quite funny

Everyone on the park crew at my mountain is a snowboarder and they announce the contests. They do decent for the snowboarders because they know the names of the tricks, but when it comes to the skiers they are terrible. They don't realize not everything is in increments of 180 so say you do 270 on pretzel 270 out that would be a "Smooth 360 on with a nice 180 out". And they also don't know the names of any ski grabs so they make things up or just say a grabbed 540. It gets kind of ridiculous when they don't know what they're talking about.

If you don't compete you don't deserve to be my friend. JOKES. I don't really mind at least we have some cool contests and its not like you're listening when you're going.
