Commute to resorts from MSU

im looking to possibly attend here in the Fall of 09 however for atleast my freshman year i will not have a car. Will getting out to the resorts be a problem if living on campus?? and is the distance all to bad? I ski 70 or so days out of the year where i live now at a 10 min drive to my resort. Will it be possible to get near this much skiing in while still being a full time student?

There is a bus that runs to Big SKy/Moonlight.

Bus takes about nintey minutes and car takes about an hour depending on road conditions. Bridger has a shuttle on the weekends but you can usually hitch hike up pretty easily.

I am in my sophomore year at bozeman; last year I got in about 65-70 days as a full time student; this girl in my math class got about 100 right on the button with like 12 credits a semester, you can get plenty of days, but the mountains are longer than ten minutes away

bridger is only 16 miles from town. the bus to moonlight if free and stops on campus

Where do the majority of the students ski at? I live on the east coast/work park crew and love skiing and being around in the park however im sure once i move there that these things will change....

go to either bridger or big sky. there's threads in these forums that will help you make a decision.

you would probally like it alot better at either big sky or moonlight cause bridger doesnt have much of a park
