Does anyone know when the best snowfall is in Japan? Looking to visit next year

January is the safest bet. I went mid February last season, and had more park days than I did pow. The day after I left the weather called for rain, keep in mind it was a below average snowfall last winter though

availability of park skis out in niseko? obviously im taking my at/pow setup but for the days where i'm not skiing fresh i was thinking about taking some park sticks aswell. should i buy some now and take them over or is it pretty cheap to pick up some over there? i dont care too much if they are used as i doubt i'll bring be using them that much...

Idk about park ski availability- if you're around the Hakuba Valley area, there are several ski shops that have rentals, and park ski demos. I know one shop in the town had liberty park skis that you could demo.

The first week of our trip we'll be staying in an Airbnb on the shore of lake Toya, shredding the Niseko/Rusutsu area

Is it a house, just a little outside of the town? If so, that's a dope place. I was there in the summer time before the Toya Marathon. You should get a great view of Mt Yotei on clear days (but hopefully you won't get too many clear days!)
