Coming in May

Well, as soon as this semester is over (end of april) i'm headed to New Zealand (from canada). I'll be backpacking for about a month and a half, then moving to wanaka to spend the ski season there, hopefully getting work at Treble Cone. Who else will be spending the season in wanaka?
 
anything at treble cone that I can get. There's no way I'll be able to afford to buy a seasons pass, so I'll need to get work at the hill.
 
yeah, i'll probably check out other places just for the hell of it later on while i'm there, (since i'll be there the whole season), but yeah, it'll pretty much just be tc.
 
rock it to snowpark, snowpark is the bomb.

i dont think i will be skiing at tc at all cause they are sooo fucking expensive.

Unless you can hook me up smoothy??
 
heh, I doubt I'll be able to hook you up with anything, i'll probably be working the bitch jobs. and yeah the prices are rediculous, if I can't get a job there I'm pretty much screwed, there's no way i'll have enough money to ski a lot there without the free seasons pass.
 
nah sorry mark i cant really do anything other thatn suggest you do the same as me and do the whole media incentives thing with them its worth it free pass and money if you get exposure for them and if theyl give you the contract
 
i just approached them with a cv and a proposal mapped out in my head. just stated what i would do for them ie exposure through filming at tc shooting photos there written word in magazines competitions like big mountain natys are there. you need to talk to anna yeates from tc marketing. i think email is marketing@treblecone.co.nz
 
I'm bored so I thought I'd bump this, plus I'm insnanely excited because in exactly 6 weeks I leave for new zealand, and i'll be living there for a year (pretty much as long as my work visa holds out). I'm so incredibly excited for this is rediculous.
