Unfortunately this past season after all my years of skiing I finally suffered my first knee injury, a torn ACL and medial meniscus to be exact. I was super bummed because I just graduated college in December and looked forward to having a really fun and progressive season. but I know that injury is pretty much inevitable when it comes to our sport so I guess it is what it is. Anyways, it happend at the beginning of January, because of timing and other circumstances I didn't end up getting surgery until the end of May, I actually still skied on it real lightly throughout the rest of the season (with a brace of course). I'm now 9 and a half weeks out from surgery and am feeling stronger everyday, in the gym 7 days a week now for PT. I've got that mentality of coming back as stronger, healthier, and an overall better skier than I was before this season, but I know thats easier said than done. Just wondering if anyone who has been through this before has any tips or words of advice to offer, anything would be really appreciated!
