Come on skiers

16 year old snowboarders are doing quads now. I'm not for pushing the limits of the sport, but why havent we seen a skier do one yet? Do snowboarders have bigger balls? Are skiers just pussies? Someone just do one already so we can get on to quints.
 
I don't want to hate on snowboard quads, because I can't even double on skis. But basically the snowboard quads are just quad backflips with a tiny rotation in there. I'm sure a skier could go out right now and do one. I've seen people do them on tramps all the time. But not a lot of people who have access to such a big jump to do a quad are interested, or they would have been done by now:

Come on.... when Henrik landed the nose butter triple you were probably amped that we had a trick on snowboarding. You remind me of anti-vaccine people. As in you're dumb.

I was amped, not because we "had a trick on snowboarding" but because Henrik brought his own uniqueness and creativity to an otherwise yet again boring huck fest. I don't see any need for competition or segregation between skiers and snowboarders, as far as I'm concerned they're the same thing. If you go sledding on a runner sled or a saucer it doesn't fucking matter, it still sledding. It's the same with skiing and snowboarding. If someone can do a quad and make it look good, go for it, but if it looks anything like that 16 year old snowboarders quad, don't expect me to get hyped.

ps Please don't compare me to the conservatives that are waging a war on science

"creativity and uniqueness" I love Henny, but all he did was start the rotation early on a triple. And everyone on NS lost their minds. If anyone else would have done it that night (with the exception of Vinny $) no one would have cared

I mean I agree with you, but you have to admit, compared to anything else in comp skiing, that was pretty creative and unique.

I'm in the works of doing a quad at camp18061806, I've done enough doubles and a couple of triples. It's just a matter of luck at this point. I already took a pretty hard bail on one attempt. Stay tuned kids.

We're the OG hipsters here. Skiers have done quads before, turned their entire sport into Aerials and now get that we're over it.

Been there, done that - didn't like the outcome.

That's straight up not true, Your girl Sarah Palin was one of the people that brought it into the limelight. Here is an article detailing the views of republican candidates on this

And it's undeniable that conservatives blatantly reject the science of climate change, I'm not saying that their aren't crazy liberal anti-vaxxers but their sure are more conservatives, and conservatives reject science more in general.

Im pretty sure Bill Maher is one of the biggest anti vaccine activists out there.... Last time I checked he isn't a conservative.
