COME AND GET A FREE LIFT TICKET. I am the gen. manager @ Christie Mt. I also build and maintain the parks. I'm trying to get the parks more exposure so I'm offering a free lift ticket to any NSer that wants it. You must come with a printed copy of this thread, it is good for one all area ticket only. i might try to go - why not? its only 2 hours from my house - about an 1 and a half from wild...we'll see.
 
dude, if you go up. i'm sure micah and randy would want to go. we could all pictch in on gas mula and have a grand ole time. whatcha think about that?
 
i'd come for sure if my parents were still paying for gas and i didnt have finals next week. this is a pretty sweet offer.
 
yeah i've never either. i gots to get my parents to let me and some other people drive up there. it looks like a ton of fun. they're only open weekends...thats kinda wierd
 
Those jumps look pretty nice! I wish places a little closer maintained theirs that well.

this place looks so good. i never knew there was even a hill around there. its right by my aunts house.
 
That's on the drive to my grandma's house. I always saw the sign for it and assumed it was some bunk-ass little place.
 
haha christie has been there for awhile now, haha ive been goin every year since i was like 12.. ahaha everybody needs to rally up and get yo ass's to christie next weekend
 
depends on where everyone lives, i might be able to get a car if broha's are willin to toss some cash for gas, i live in madison

i think a bunch of us who normally ride at welch are going next weekend...probably sunday the 23...i'll probably roll with the van...if i have room i could provide some seats...
 
anyone from eau claire on here? im at UWEC, and i got finals on monday and thursday and friday, so if anyone wants to go up like tuesday, weds. or sat or something, id throw down on gas

anyone else think that the hill is kinda flat? just judging by the picture I guess....but those of you that are going this weekend should def. let us know how it is. :-)

W.T.F. I'm lost dude, what did all that bump and you're welcome mean. I'm out of the loop I don't check my thread out as often as I should. The lower parks are a little flat but as long as the snow aint slow their good. More rails then jumps on the lower parks. The Rusty's park is a little steep for a park, you just gotta check a little. Currently have a 45' table on Rusty's. No pics of that one posted though. I'll try to get some more pics up the next couple of days to wet your appetites. Oh ya, the grade averages 14% on the lower parks. 20 to 26% would be optimal.
 
any way to extend the deal till like christmas or something? i dont know if i can make it out before the 23?

not to sound greedy or ungrateful or anything, just an honest question.
 
I understand, but sorry. I had to really plead my case to ownership to justify this little shenanigan. Check the mid week specials though, there are a couple nights that are dirt cheap. 15 or more qualifies for a group rate if you set it up in advance. I know its far fetched but the ticket ends up being like $7 or something.
 
it doesn't have to be the entire thread does it? cause i think that makes like 3 pages of printing...i started printing then stopped it so i have about 8 posts on one page will that work?
 
hey no worries man. i think its awesome that your doing this in the first place. i'll try my hardest to get out there before the 23rd but if i cant, maybe some other time this season.

theres always 2 options. 1, the more intelligent one in your case, NOT SAYING ANYTHING AT ALL

and 2, being a fucking dick, which you do around 99% of the time.
 
how can you gaurantee something that you dont even know what it is? and I only said those things to him to help him become aware of what may be coming to him within the next few days, in a very round-about way, without letting the cat outta the bag. It WOULD give his park more exposure, which he clearly stated in his very first post, if this THING somehow takes shape.
