There is all this talk about how it sucks here on the eat coast, just wondering how is the winter out in colorado and other places in the West

oregon and washington are getting dumped on above 4500 feet, have been getting rain below in the past couple of months. think colorado is pretty normal

I live in colorado. We are having the best year. The news says that there has been more snow this year than any other year in the past 20 years. I believe it. There is always so much fresh POW. I bet your jealous sucker...Sorry I had to say it. I hope it gets better out there. Maybe you should think about moving to the REAL mountians.

yeah. copper has gotten at least 230 inches so far this season. that's a shit load compared to last year, but on average i think it's normal. last year was just extraordinarily crappy. and it just snowed all day long yesterday in the mountains and the city.

Park City Utah started slow this year-but has been great. Have had some amazing powder days. All of the parks are up and running. Day 40 today 4 me

Arizona has had like 7 inches. All of it from this week though. Tomarrow will be my day 5, maybe 6. I lose track, I have gone so many days.

Yeah over 20 feet of snow so far in Colorado and we may break the alltime record for snow, which was set back in '83. It is the most snow Colorado has gotten in my lifetime for sure. Who cares if it snows in Denver or the front range, it isn't like there are ski resorts there, and it lets me climb when I am in Boulder and ski when I am in Breck...except that Boulder got a pretty decent amount of snow yesterday.
