anyone know if there are any. i think i remember someone saying something about some in steamboat. i would way rather go hit some water ramps than pay $1400 for a summer camp.

The first one in CO is in the process of being built. It's going to be outside of Keystone. Look in the latest Freeskier mag.

there is one in steamboat, but its one, its small, there is no program (like with coaches), and its into a lake... the one in Park City has 5, they are world class, and they have bad ass coaches, and it is cheaper to go there for 3 months than to go to camp for a week... that is where i am going

you are all a little misinformed.

the first ever terrain park style water ramp facility was built last season in steamboat. This summer there will be a camp program set up at the facility. Check with the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club for more on the program.

The ramp has 3 lips. One of them is for beginners, sitting about 3 feet above the water. The middle is slightly more pop, similar to a 25 foot kicker. Both these jumps are about 8 feet wide. The main ramp is 22 feet wide, and has a lot of pop. It sits about 14 feet above the water. At the end of the summer, Charlie McArthur was throwing swith misty 9 tail grabs, 90 feet out into the lake.

The shits gonna go down this summer, but the only way to ride is to attned a session. More on that towards the summer.

...he died doing what he loved. He will always be rememberd as a great snowboarder, but more importantly as a great friend.

the ramps at park city are soooo nice tho, you should just go there.. plus its cheap. tanner spends a lot of time at the PC ramps, among others.. so yah, its worth it to just go to PC.. they're sooo nice.

well fuck you.

I wanna try them so bad, but are they like aerial ramps or have they finally adjust them so they are just like park kickers, because if they did that then I really want to try them.

Me: So you like the big powder hits?

Cam Miller: Only when I am snorting them.

Your not as great as you think you are.

And i will now end this post with the original 'Fuk U Bitch'.

I live in steamboat and i am on the steamboat winter sports club. spinks has all the shit right on about the ramps, except everything is about 5 feet higher out of the water than he said cause it is built up on a wooden platform. there are no bubbles in the lake so if you land on your face it would really hurt. really the only reason i go there is for the tramp they got cause it is so super good, dug into the ground, and has pads all around it. i haven't heard anything about any summer camps there, but i don't really know for sure. in the past it has just been winter sports club kids hitting them.

well, i found a web site for the winter sports club and i emailed them asking about them. im going to be pissed if they say i cant hit them cuz im not a member of the winter sports club. to me thats just like saying 'we dont want to make money off this kid' cuz i'll pay good $ to use those bad boys.

The PC water ramps really are tight. They really are world class. The US freestyle team practices there year round. They do have a few ramps that have a little less vert so that they are more like a park hit instead of a freestyle ramp. They also have bungee trampolines too that you try out new jumps on before you move to the ramps. Its all pretty cool.

^^yah.. pc water ramps are sick.. i don't think the freestyle team practices during the winter cuz i spend some time at UOP durng the winter (not the ramps tho) and theres never anyone using the ramps..

i thought the landon sawyer foundation was based out of boise?? not colorado???
