Ill be going to school in CO next year (fiiinaallly!). Anyhow I need some info on the colorado pass. Where and when can I buy it? Also, do most colorado colleges give discounts on ski passes and shit? I know they have ski clubs but I wanna go more often.

its sooooo cheap to get a pass out there, if youre going to be skiing summit county you can get a special pass from like any college around denver im pretty sure or the REI stores have them, im not sure how it works but its real nice its about 300 i think and you get a season pass to 4 ski areas and then like 5 day passes at like 5 other ski areas and its only 300 dollars. imnot sure exactly how it works so you might want to ask someone else but thats the general idea, where are you going to school?

I like skiing

Ill be going to CSU@Fort Collins. Im so excited to be close to good skiing. I know nothing about getting passes and shit out there however.

If you come out here now you can get the colorado pass for 300 and the buddy pass for like 250ish. Buddy Pass you get unlimited days at Keystone, Breck, ABasin, and upgrade to colorado pass and you get 10 days at vail/beaver creek. You have to buy them at the resorts now. But, since this was like the worst snow year ever the prices could even be lower if you wait till the fall. They sell at Boulder ski deals and ski and golf if you don't wana go out to the mnts. Also copper goes for round 200ish, but there's always deals to watch for. my friend got a pass to copper this year for 99 bucks cuz of a deal with signing up with compass bank. My opinion the colorado pass is still the best.

Head injuries suck!

The earliest I will be there will be may 30 to register for classes. It wont go any higher than $300 until like september anyway right? Its not like $300 is a bad deal for 3(4) mtns anyhow.

Don't worry, you will have plenty of time to get your pass. The summit pass is most popular, but wait to you hear where other buddies from the dorms or what not are getting passes, esp if you don't have a car. The deals will go till mid-late Sept.

The drive sucks...thats my only warning, but it is better than not having an option to drive...but traffic really sucks if you don't have some beer for the way home (unless your are driving)

yes I-70 sucks balls. Don't take the frontage roads trying to save time, it really doesn't help. If you wait till the fall there will be restricted dates at all of the area for the colorado pass not just vail/bc
