Any know any info on the possible bachelor degree offerings? Anyone know any info about CMC? and do you think that getting a 4 year degree from CMC would be a bullshit degree? Any info would help. Thanks NS
 
From what I have heard, they are planning on 3 options for a bachelors right now....Business, Sustainability Studies (whatever the hell that is) and a third one that I forget. The whole program hasnt really gone through the hoops yet though, so dunno if Fall 2011 is gonna be a starting point for it.
 
your best option would probably be getting all of your core credits out of the way in 2 years then transferring to CU or another colorado state school (not cc or du) because your credits will transfer. that is just what i think. good luck with it
 
my dad read in the newspaper that they're for sure having at least one 4 year program next year. I'm stoked on this as I'll be attending the dillon school in the fall.
 
ya I was thinking about the dillon campus too. what program are they going to start? if i was to go there, i would prob go in fall 2012 and just finish one more year in boulder
 
I go to CMC Breck/Dillon campus. They have a stereotype for being a really easy bullshit school, but since the prospect for adding 4 year degrees has come in they've gotten a bit more serious. The first year is obviously easy as it is in any other college... but I'm a pretty smart kid (skipped 3rd grade and graduated a year early) and I definitely feel like I'm learning.

I'm not stoked that they're adding dorms. I really like the small town/home feel in Breck and I feel like dorms will take away from that.

It's a great option for those who love skiing too much to go to CU Boulder and only get to ski on the weekends. IMO life is too short to spend your youth all day in a classroom.

Most of the classes are in the evening after the mountain closes, so you get to ski all day. I believe they are also considering weekend classes next year because locals don't want to ride on the weekends anyway. (Genius idea.) It's hard to hold a job and do that, but if you're blessed like me your parents might help you out.

I thought the breck campus already had dorms? oh well, as long as dillon doesn't I'm cool with that. haha
