I searchbarred it with no results. Does anybody go to the colorado mountain college? I know there is many locations. Which would be the best location with access to sick skiing close?

I could be completely wrong but i would imagine you cant go wrong with the one in Breckenridge as fa as skiing goes.

Haha! Yeah, I mean, come on... who wants to ride Breck?! It's only in the top 5 resorts in the U.S. and maybe world. And they only have one of the best parks in the world... But hot damn I want one of the best parks in the WHOLE FRIGGEN UNIVERSE!

... So I'mma go to Steamboat!

Nah I know man, I'm just playin. The same goes for people who prefer park over steeps though... Can't just tell somebody to not go there and assume what they like/don't like is all I was trying to say.

everyone i know whos gone there have been total ski bums, but it looks like a fun place to go for a term or year or something

Honestly, if you are just trying to ski. Don't go to CMC. Its horrible. Waste of money. Take a year or 2 off. Then go to a better university. I went for a year and its just lame.

Almost went to CMC, but I believe they are all 2 year? So I mean, in my case I was going to go, do ok and transfer to boulder. But I changed my mind due to expenses. I've heard good things though.

im a junior in high school but im in my CMC psychology class right now. pluses: cheap, credits guaranteed to transfer to any public college or university in CO, VERY small class sizes (mine has 9 people in it). downsides: you can only get a two year degree, limited class choices.

CMC was approved to turn to a 4 yr last spring. Don't know when they'll have their programs available but its happening. Working at a ski area does not suck. Breck is flat, but the basin/loveland/copper/vail/beaver creek aren't...

Ya'll on the haterade today.

my boyfriend went to the steamboat one he really liked it but from what he said its more a school you go to to party hard and ski as opposed to getting a good education.

Copper. it was fun to work at but i found my slef skiing less and less. my idea was to get my degree and work and ski.. and work took over my life and i would ski like 1ce every 2 weeks. id be on my skis at work from time to time but that does not count in my book

I'm in Boulder, but my two goods buds go to CMC at Breck.... you might wanna send them a message if you wanna talk to them about it (PATRON and nels) ... Breck is such a tight mountain plus keystone is right there too!

Actually, a two year degree from CMC is guaranteed to transfer to any 4 year state institution (in CO). The academics are only a joke if you make it like that. Yes, its possible to partially bullshit your way through CMC, but its also entirely possible to get a good education here. Besides,i live 5 min from Steamboat mountain and i go to school for free ;) not too bad if you ask me.
