Colorado Front Range Getting Spoiled

aka the catimite storm... hey you got the snow now.. but... at least...

I GET MORE SNOW>>

and its not FUCKIN COLD

and i am farther then denver than you

what does that mean? Are you saying our snow has shitty stability b/c you sink into it or becaues it slides a lot? Well i think you would prefer our snow over yours if you have ever ridden Vail or Mary Jane on a 6 inch + pow day.

Just because colorado resorts don't know where to build up thier mountain dosent mean that colorado is lacking on terrain-- even along i70 -- maybe you have to man up and put some skins on your skis to get sick terrain but that limits how many people are going to be actualy hitting that shit making it just as sick

the resorts are getting jack shit though. i just woke up to check the snow totals expecting at least 8 or 9 inches, but w.p. only got 4.5. fuck. im going back to bed. its not even worth the drive at this point.

I went to A basin for the first time in my life today...it was also the last time in my life. they reported 6 inches new snow...which was more than keystone and breck...so I figured I'd give it a shot. My gf and I skied 3 runs and went home. It was worse skiing than I've done on the east coast. Rocks everywhere...not even a single inch of new snow. It's useless.

The crowd is completely retarded also...a bunch of yuppy/hippies who wear all the technical gear and think they are hardcore but are to pussy to actually go away from a resort. Worste place on earth. Summit county has jack shit.

I've barely ridden my sled on Vail pass this season...we just don't have any solid coverage.

NW gets some damn good snow. Yea, it usually has more water content, but we 1) get a fuckload more and 2) better BC conditions

east coast check out our forceast Friday: RAIN and 55 saturday: rain 60 sunday: like finally gets to 45 for high but sucks still

Umm...buddy..do yourself a favor and go over to the National Weather Service Denver webpage.

www.crh.noaa.gov/den

Don't ever believe the Weather Channel, they have their own supercomputer that "averages" forecasts. Not very accurate. NWS however have point specific forecasts for most regions
