Colorado Bootfitting

Does anyone have a good reliable bootfitter preferably in the Fort Collins area of Colorado. Looking for any and all suggestions on the front range but preferably Foco, thanks!

Larry's Bootfitting in Boulder is about an hour away and completely worth it. Call and make an appointment before you show up.

Yep, Larry's is the way to go.

Unfortunately Foco is seriously lacking in good shops. On The Edge is great for mounts / tunes, but no solid boot fitting or specialty shops.

On a similar note any good bootfiitng in the Aspen area that won't take all of my money?

Sweet thanks for the recommendation! And yeah was starting to get that impression from foco, wish the ski community was a little more broadcasted up here

I forgot the name but right next store to strafe at highlands. Boottech?

They do charge a sizing fee but they will only add it on once you’ve actually bought boots. Plus they use fancy computers and shit. You need to set a appointment.

Never bought boots from them but I’ve tried a few at end of season. They know what they’re doing.

No one who’s good in Aspen is gonna be cheap.

Unfortunately there are no stores with size 8 boots

Are you simply calling up shops and asking if they have size 8 boots available? Because, that is a guaranteed way to find the wrong boot.

Ski boots are developed around mondo point sizing (the cm length of your foot), not US or UK sizing. Do not ask for your street shoe size. Go get fitted by someone who can see your foot inside a ski boot shell.

Larry is great, after 3 hours of work they told me to buy a different boot elsewhere since they didn't have the one that fit me the best in stock. I came back the next day and he helped get me all fitted for it. Then he said I didn't owe him anything, even though he did 4 hours of work and I didn't even buy the boot there. Everyone should go there!

Anyone worth going to in Durango or Telluride? Those are doable trips for me coming from AZ!

Boot Doctors in Telluride is super legit. Definitely recommended.

Thanks. I'll have to take a ride out this Fall/summer and see about getting properly fit. Bought my QST90s from a shop in phoenix and they are def a bit on the loose side.
