No i'm just fine with threads like these assuming there's knowledge to grow and discussion to stimulate. But come on... I mean the reactions you got in this thread speak for themselves. Neither has happened because the angle you took was just wrong. You should also probably stop trying to defend it. Its nothing personal toward you or anything but you shouldn't need me to say so. If you want discussion and knowledge try, oh I don't know, a thread about gun control, the race issue involved, the psychology of the guy, hell even the gender issue involved. Like why are so few violent crimes committed by women? Its not at all insensitive to discuss this now but to do so by bringing conspiracy into it is hardly 'growth' or 'stimulation'. Just sayin

i think the point is we should wait a little longer before doing so to show respect for victims and their families. if you don't care about that, you're just being kind of a dick
 
Why would this offend the families? Either way, the people died terrible deaths and their families should be respected and felt for. No mater who did it, it's tragic. I just don't see how questioning how it happened is offensive in any way.
 
because most people probably find it so stupid that it becomes disrespectful to even consider. i think the whole idea of the conspiracy could also be considered disrespectful. to say, oh, that tragic shooting that killed your loved one? LOL THE GOVERNMENT DID IT! THEY WANT YOU LOVED ONE DEAD AND DON'T CARE ONE BIT HE/SHE WAS SLAUGHTERED, LOL YOU STILL HAVE TO BE PATRIOTIC
 
No, it'd be more like, oh, that tragic shooting that killed your loved one? I'm very sorry that this happened and we aren't completely sure how yet, but no matter how it happened, it's still tragic as fuck.

Also i don't know what patriotism has to do with this.
 
generally the government is associated with the country which is associated with patriotism.

you're still missing the point. talking about this could be seen as disrespectful, and if anyone connected to the shooting found it to be so, we should respect them by not talking about it. its one of those times where your (not yours specifically, just people in general) opinion or well reasoned arguments dont really count for much
 
I definitely see what you're getting at and respect that opinion, I just either don't understand it myself or just disagree.
 
like i said, its one of those times where, if you disagree, its better just to keep quiet for a while and not say anything at all
 
even though those conspiracy theories are so idiotic its almost hard to comprehend how any type of primate could create such a tale, i don't think anyone should be forced to "keep quiet". If I or anybody else wish to speculate about what happened i can do so in any way shape or form even if it offends some people.

 
that was one of the more retarded things i have read. also there is no way in hell the government would ever attempt to take peoples guns away. not only is it fucking ludicrous, but i would venture as far to say that if a mandate to take all of our guns went out a straight up fucking militia would be formed. I would say the general public is just about as well armed as the military as far as small arms go. plus the military would probably turn on the government if they tried that shit. Most of the people in the army would join that militia too. Worst case scenario the government puts out some mandate to take our guns or whatever and 70 percent of the military and all the private citizens collect say "fuck that" and kill anyone who tries to enforce it.

of course people CAN discuss what they want, but it doesn't mean they necessarily SHOULD, does it? if respect means nothing to you, then so be it
 
All that gear could easily have been bought for 10k. That author just took the highest estimate possible for each piece of gear.

I really dont care if the shooting was staged or anything, its still a terrible thing that happened, why cant people just leave it at that?
 
of course he has the right to speak freely, but, again, it's about respect. if there's even a chance that someone with a connection to the shooting would be offended by something like this, wouldn't it be better to just wait a while and let everyone digest what happened before talking about it?
 
Respect means alot to me, I just don't think he's being disrespectful. It's not like he's making batman jokes or saying the victims deserved it. THAT would be disrespectful. Discussing events is part of life which must go on. If someone thinks this could have happened, they are free to say so. People can voice their opinions. Respect that.
 
i know you don't find it disrespectful but it sounds like some of the other people posting in the thread thought it was. Of course people can voice their opinions, and i'm not saying he never should, i just dont know if now is the best time to do so
 
The whole conspiracy does kinda of sound like bullshit. But still, it is important to ask questions. And a few of the questions posed are worth reflecting on
