Color guard

To the girl who started this thread. The color guard is social suicide. So is Rotc. and drill team is even stretching it. If you'd like to join one of these, and think you'd be good at it, and that's what makes you happy, well go for it. but you WILL be a nerd, and your friends will be nerds, and that's all there is to it. If you don't care about that. by all means go ahead. If you'd like to be socially accepted or popular, and that means a lot to you, then you dont want to join color guard. and i'll leave on this note

Jesus christ, you guys are petty. Who the fuck cares what she does? She simply asked if anyone was in Color Guard. Not the interpretations of High School social structure, from a bunch of arrogent, 16 year old pricks.

When I was in highschool, my neighbor was in Color Guard. She wasn't the prettiest girl in school but she was amazing. Traveled all over the country and to Europe for competitions. And even recieved a scholarship for college. I'm guessing many of you cannot say that about yourselves with skiing or anything else you do. But hey, you're one of the coolest kids in the 10th grade right?

no, actually in out of high school, and college for that matter.

but i WAS one of the coolest kids in 10th grade, and we all know thats all that matters in life.

Yeah, I was the cool kid too because I had the freshest sneakers and the coolest shirts and I had my hair all gel'd up

color guard is for all those loser ass girls who are like fat or real ugly but think there hot but there not and they act all cool because there in color guard and wear tight cloths when they shouldnt unless they want everyone to beable to count all the rolls on there backs.

Then perhaps you should return to highschool if you are satisfied with your current level of maturity.

it was a joke. do you have ANY sense of humor? God!

and in the post above that, i didn't tear her down, i said if it makes her happy, go for it. But i also said she'll probably be grouped with the nerds, and if she cares more about that than succeeding as a laundry detergent, then maybe she should stay away from color guard.

i was just telling the truth.

but in all seriousness:

i was probably the one person who responded sincerely and honestly. maybe you should attack other people for saying its for "fat asses" or "wanna be cheerleaders", cause i never said that.

I bet anything those 3 guys will get some from those chicks later on in life.. that is when they arent 13 and 14 years old anymore.

Hahaha, straight to the point.

Funny how much shit she's gotten just for trying to find other people who do what she's doing. So what exactly is bad about being a cheerleader? Is Color Guard classier? A little less slutty? You refrain from swearing and then try to claim that Color Guard is the "cool" one to join, but none of that shit adds up.
