There is no thing I hate more than people who can't shoot for the life of them and think that by overusing and fucking with color correction it will compensate for their poor filming skills. not happening. Moral of the post, don't be lame!

The only time I would ever consider using color correction is if I am going for some sort of mood in the edit that way everythign goes alogn well. There really isn't anything that compensates for poor filming.

you should color correct every shot. There isn't a single frame that wouldn't look better with some color correction. If you're not color correcting everything you shoot then you are an amature. You think million dollar dp's shoot what you see in movies? No. It's all about who's doing the post.
