haha, I heard about that shit, worst comp ever. That video sucked.

Supposedly Jonas Marcinco and Garrette Russell threw down.
 
Looks like speed issues to me... I don't think someone with enough skill to lip 270 onto a down rail would straight air a jump if they had a choice.
 
AHAH what the fuck... I was at that comp and they prety much just showed some of the worst runs atleast for the people they showed. All the kids out there were throwing down despite the blizzard. The speed got too slow...as you see int he footage from later in the day. It is a defintaly a super legit contest and look for it to blow up in the next few years. The juding was a pile of shit considering they qualified a kid for finals who didn't even ski that day. Hopefully next year will be better weather and mroe oragananized judging.
 
yep, that pretty much sums it up. Nobody could get speed for anything, and the jib features were crusted over with snow, making box riding difficult. A lot better shit was thrown down for sure, but obviously the stuff shown was not legit.
 
Yeh those air attempts were pretty lame. Britains university chamionships produce better stuff and we have no snow and our clothes aren't as expensive. :)
 
wow, that video really sucked. The bad thing is that the two guy skiers really aren' that bad. I rode with Scott and Jamie when I was in tahoe earlier this year, and they were killin it. my bet is that it was the weather or just not very good runs. but it would suck if that is the only video from the comp.
 
i guaruntee those were not all of the skiers and if british kids ever skied in some north american pow pow they would shit themselves in an instant. at least these kids know how to nut up and throw down even in a blizzard, even with the jumps slowing down and all. america will kill gb any day in skiing and we have more style too.
