im looking to go to school in utah, but i dont think i can get into the u, so is there any community colleges that are decent that i could go to, just for a year so i can get my gpa up? prefereably close to P.C, or kimball junction area.

 
I think that the the only one is SLC community college. Thought they have alot of satilite campus. Also try weber state. Pretty much all you need for those two schools are a pulse

 
weber didnt seem too bad and from what my brother said is that snow basin is pretty bad ass. which is only like 20 mins away isnt it?

 
is weber just shitty or wut? wut about the school in orem like south valley or some shit, im just looking for the a school that is relativly close to a place to ski prefereably p.c area. my brother said snowbasin is good too so i dont know im sure you guys would know better than i would. also this is only gonna b for a year so i could transfer to u of u, i just need to get the gpa up first thats why i want to go to one of these schools 1st.

 
Is it weber thats going to be the best school for college in a few years? One of those schools up north is installing a gondola from campus to the top of snowbasin...help me out here

 
The school in Orem/Provo is UVSC its a decent school as far as teaching, but don't look for too many partys or anything. I go there, sometimes, and I am pretty much the only out going person there that likes to drink and have fun. its about 45 minutes or so to PC depending on what part of town you live in. I will likely be there this fall. Maybe

 
yea, if you graduated from high school the U is pretty much going to accept you. You might have to do early start or something but they will take you. just call admissions and see what they can work out for you.

 
well i have a 2.2 and you need a 2.6 but i got a 23 on my act, so im not dumb(book smart wise, not common sense now i regret not trying), but weber has 3 good prgrams for what im looking into so i dont know. im just looking for honest opinions of this school i really wanna know about it. its looking more and more likly the place im going to be going too, so any help would be really appreciated

 
Weber is a pretty good school depending what you are going into. As for the U, they are more of a research school, so if you are going into Bio, Chems, Physics, anthropology etc you would def want to go to the U. They also have a pretty good business programs and one of the best dance programs in the country. for liberal arts weber state would be fine..so jsut depends what you want to go into mostly. you could always start at weber and transfer down if you don't like it.

 
i want to go for either criminal justice, education or buisness, and weber seemed pretty good for all of those

 
if you go for buisness. Go to a junior college and get you gens out of the way then head up to westminster, they have on of the top ranked buisness schools in the country
