yeah and I can't friggin wait. I dunno exactly where I'm going yet though. Been accepted to 8/12 so I still have decisions to make.

my advise is to find a school with a strong program for your major, that has a city that you like. don't just go check out the school. go ask around about the surounding area. As i have found out from some friends some schools are nice but the surrounding cities suck. and lastly skiing and college do not mix well unless you are able to get pre-registration .

check out the city before you go man, go stay there for a few days, thats my biggest regret because the city my shcool is in (peterborough) sucks balls... its got a sick skaepark though and dirty sluts so its not all bad

Don't go to a university anywhere near a good resort, cuz you'll end up skiing all the time, not doing homework, and then blowing out your ACL and getting shitty grades.

University of Utah is sweet! Awesome skiing! The city is pretty cool, lots of girls, and good parties! Its not hard to balance school and skiing, I do it!

yeah, well i just got into tulane so i'll probably going there. sort of the opposite of a ski town like boulder which was one of my other options. oh well, i can still ski during summer.............wait. during winter break, wait, I'll have to stay home for christmas with my family who live in LA. well.........during spring i guess, even though spring break in new orleans looks kind of fun

I just visited UBC this past weekend, if you have any questions you can message me. Whistler is 2 hours away and there is a greyhound that runs out of Vancouver to Whistler. I think it is about 40$ roundtrip. UBC is sort of seperate from the city and kind of secluded, but in a good way. When you pay your tuition that includes a bus pass that lets you use all of the buses in the Vancouver area so those can take you in town to the greyhounds station. In addition to Whistler, there are about 3 other mountains that are about 30 minutes to and hour away.

Join me in Whistler from June 20-26... it's gonna kick! :)

 
I'm from boulder so there was no way in hell i could go to CU. It is a sick school, but i just really really have to leave the town of Boulder. I can see the campus from my high school, and if i went there i don't think i could stand it.

michigan state university. my dream is to go to cu, but its just too damn expensive. msu's awesome tho, its everything i want in a college basically. im hopin to go somewhere out west for grad school and take summer and fall classes and ski all winter.
