College?

western washinton university - baker - skip class about 0-3 times a week depending on the conditions

i go to san diego state and i only have class on tuesday and thursday so i never have to skip class to ride. i ride bear or mammoth

To actually answer your question, I'm at Community College of Vermont this year, was at UVM last year, and will be at either University of New England (most likely) or St Mikes next year. I've never skipped to ski and don't plan on doing it. There's plenty of time outside of class time to do stuff that you want to do.

UW-Madison; around here i ski shitty midwest resorts that aren't worth skipping class for, so i go skiing when i can or feel like, but two trips out west keep me sane

I go to Cal Poly Pomona, CA, and I ski at Mt High, Mammoth, and Bear. I was going about 2x to 3x a week, but lately because of the full time job I haven't been skiing much.

im thinking about going to college somewhere in colorado or utah...somewhere out west

im doing it mainly for skiing, do you guys think its really worth it?

^ i have like a 91 average, go to a catholic high school and am numero uno on the tennis team. u think i will get into boulder i got a 1640 on my sats but the sats are total bullshit i fuckin hate them

I wish i was in college...haha, i cant skip out on work..i could be a article 15 doesn't sound very good.

i go to BU i ski every weekend i skip like once a week to drive home to vermont for weekends or i'll ski the hills around here

Ferris State in the midwest, starting at michigan college of optometry next fall, i don't ski enough, like once every week or two...

i ski 7 days a week and never skip class to do it. I ski twive a week for class and have 3 half days a week when i have class.

Ummm i dont have to skip classes. I ski MWF from 11 AM till close and TTh from open till 3 PM. And all weekend of course. Its pretty easy to go to school full time at Montana State and still ski 7 days per week.

Since we are on the topics of colleges...Im thinkin about transferrin out west, but I have no idea where. As long as it is within 2-3 hours of a big ski resort Im good, I'm mainly lookin for a nice college to go to on par with U of Michigan or something similar. Anyone know of any? Im kinda lookin at UC Berkeley right now but Im not sure.

collegeboard.com , narrow down your options by your major/etc etc and then bring those ideas here. I'm sure you'd find a perfect school that way.

going to the air force academy. i'll be able to ski on weekends with the ski club/team but not as much as high school

I'm going to Michigan Tech next year. I didn't pick it for skiing or anything ($12,000/yr. alumni scholarship), but it turns out they own a ski hill practically on campus. And they get a ton of lake effect snow. So I'm definitely looking forward to next year. I drive 45 minutes to ski now.

Ya...that mountain sucks, really really sucks. They do get a lot of lake effect, depends on the year. However, Mt. Bohemia is like an hour further north, they get on average as much snow as Colorado and have incredible back country. Nearly as good as you can find at the average resort out west, its awesome up there.
