I need to know where some good ones are, and nothing that's going to cost like a grand a month to live there...any ideas? and not salt lake.

i agree, unr is a great school, Reno is an awesome town with good skateboarding. and skiing @ tahoe is like half an hour to an hour away depending on which resort you go to

It really depends on what kind of college you want to go to. dont make your decision based on the skiing factor alone. that is retarded. If you want a big school: CU, U of U, UBC, Oregon. A small campus: CMC, Fort Lewis. A great education: UW. Other factors to consider: liberal or conservative, big town or small town, park or pow, in state out of state......

go to UBC or SFU in vancouver and its only 1.5 hours away from whistler. plus thers 3 small local mtns right ther

can any of you read? She said not SLC. so reccomding would be what some would call "retarded". Reno fits what your looking for and so does parts of tahoe.

more like full of fun. Casino's, bars, cheap liquor, hookers, drunk college kids and tahoe. What more could you ask for?

if it were me, one choice: Grenoble University, France.

Less than an hour to two of the sickest resorts in Europe: Les Deux Alpes has an ILL park- I went to rossi summer camp there once and hive fived CANDIDE!!!

Also, La Grave within easy reach- I promise you there are few/no better freeride resorts. Question is, you may be female, but have you got the cojones?

hey ur on the site alot and you still dont know how ot use the search function?

PATHETIC little girl, FUCKING pathetic

adironndack community college. like 5 mins away from WEST MOUNTAIN! yeah that place has some of the sickest skiing in the east

university of utah would be i think the best choice alta, brighton, solitude, snowbird all under a half an hour away...and then prolly like 45 mins to an hour to park city if your really need to ride some good park....

are you seriose man. She said not in Utah. UNR has some good grad programs. We also have some very good undergrad programs. Just depends what you want to study.

burlington, vermont. smuggs and stowe are like 50 minutes away and jay is about an hour and a half. killy is also about an hour and a half.

This is a sweet thread. I have always wanted to go to a college with a sick mountain. But I also want to get a good education. Sweet thread.

I moved to houhton mi. I go to michigan tech. The school owns its own ski hill, which is nothing compared to utah, but mt. bohemia is an hour away, and that place is the shit, and so is marquette mountain, which has the best terrain park ever. Plus I pay 150 a month for rent, and that's pretty average. It's not out west, but its waaay cheaper, and the next best thing.

american college of switzerland, in leysin switzerland.....5 minute walk to lifts or take the free bus that picks up at the front door every hour, ski back to the front door, beautiful view, beautiful girls in town, 7 days a week nightclub and parties, no liftlines ever, just a few minutes from other bigger resorts too like les portes du soleille, villars, verbier, etc. ect. the list goes on and on..... have lots of school pictures on my myspace, more partying than ski pictures, but whatever.......

woo, if you're driving like a chinese grandparent maybe; I'd say 40 minutes at most. Sugarbush is a half hour away too.
