College Laptop Advice

At this point I am pretty sold on the Lenovo Ideapad y500. I am very interested in buying a second stationary monitor, I would like to not spend over $200. Are there any good options for that budget?
 
dude from my own experience and others i do a split thing, i got two computers, the new chrome book is off the fucking chain for only 250$ you get everything a macbook does but for quarter of the price, google docs is ill as fuck, then with 500-750 you can build your own desktop to serve as your gaming master piece, there is a site something like toms500$build.com that shows you how much you can stretch your dollar for technology, its dope man, chromebook for school shit, and the desktop for teabaggin bitches in battlefield. good luck
