COLLEGE IS FUCKINNN GAYYYY

Uh by buy do you mean believe? Its a class dude, we had like 5 weeks of class (twice a week) learning different things about ski instructing, and then about 4 weeks (twice a week) on hill training and then we taught 3 lessons last semester (some newspaper ski lessons, real cheap, for kids 8-12 etc) and then taught a ski class this semester, which is class you can take at U of U called skiing for beginners, and we are the instructors. Not only is it a bomb/easy class but my alta pass was only 99 bucks.

this reminds me of girls when they go to the bathroom together, just go skiing and make friends at the hill and stop complaining, if you dont like a situation do something about it to fix it, dont complain about it

If some of you gay bears would read the thread you would find out that I did end up going anyway, so enough with telling me I don't "care" enough about skiing. I've put tons of time, money, and dedication in, so shutty.

Im thinking ill do 18 credits again next semester and only do 12 during the winter so i can ski more. Thats a really great idea, im kinda pissed i didnt think of it sooner.

its all about getting your schedule so you have classes on tues/thurs or mon/weds/fri. shit, im taking 16 credits (17 acutally but not reallly enrolled in one), have tues/thurs off and ride 4-5 days a week when the mtns are an hour and a half away. its expensive as fuck and i dont care, soo worth it. you just gotta really be comitted to time managing

Fuck that shit... I live 3 hours from Tahoe, and I work in a ski shop and people there STILL dont want to ditch and come with...

Supa gay.

yep, i have the same problem, and i just relaized fuck it, im going by myself, and on weekdays, aven thouh the mtn is an hour and half from my school

there you go, i'm glad there's still kids out there that would rather work or do extra credits in order to ski instead of just dropping out. way better idea.. props.

all my skiing buddies went to college while im still stuck in highschool, i usually just get lit and throw headphones on and ski by myself, its mellow which is cool but theres nothing like skiing with a group of friends

agreed. i go to school about an hour and a half away from a mountain and i've got well over 35/40 or so days this year. you just have to do what you can to make it work man.

check this out... college may be lame at some points, but ask this to yourself: are you going to become a professional skier? nope! If you were then you wouldn't be in college right now right? If college is so gay, then drop out and work at a video store or Burger King the rest of your life. You can go skiing by yourself and be open to people and find new people to ski with, but instead you are complaining about something that will help you in the future and complaining about not going up in a month because theres no one to go with.. boo hoo... so, shut the fuck up.
