College Illinois/ Iowa?

What up mid-west!

I'm going to Augie for College next year, and wondered if anyone over there skis? I'm from CO and don't know if I can stand a year without shredding at all...

HELP!
 
yeahhh its gonnna be super rough to go there especiallly after coming from COI but ill definitely be in the park. what places have the best parks?
 
chesnut is good, cascade is usually really good too, they hold the midwest open up there so they have a nice park as well and the big nut is at chesnut so they maintain their shit tight too
 
damn cascade is a 3 hour drive for me from the second city so im hardly ever there.. i was up there first week of the season when they only had like 3 rails up . but last year i remember it was pretty raw
 
thts ironic. people dream bout goin to college where you live. guess the tables have turned. however, like stated above chestnut will be ur be the best option. but dont be afraid to come shred around the southern wi areas. small mts but big hearts and great vibes.
 
i know right...seems like im making the wrong move but i want to see what else is out there. sounds like theres some decent park scene over there, which is what im lookin for
 
For sure! Can't you get a scholarship here in co... Would be easier to visit you in a couple of years too ;)
 
welll i did get a scholorship to mines...full ride actually. but i value having a life outside of insane classes lol and augie fits me alot better. dont worry sondre i will still find a way to ski!
