Alright so I need help. I have no clue where to go to college. I live in Illinois about 20 mins out of chicago. I have a 3.7 cumulative GPA with a 32 on my ACT. So I don't NEED to ski when I go to school but I wana have a good time. That being said, all these suggestions don't have to be in colorado. I don't mind stoners because I'm kinda considered one and I want a good party scene. Schools I'm interested in are Michigan State, CU Boulder, Denver, maybe Colorado College, Colgate, Texas A&M. I really need help so just post suggestions or if you know anything about these schools.
 
Ya my parents want me going to a small school but i like a big school vibe. My brother goes to yale and I'm not trying to follow in his footsteps
 
Haha half my high school wants to go there. I visited and it was fun but idk the only big ten I reall enjoy is Michigan State. And I wana major in philosophy on the pre law track, or business- marketing
 
I attend the University of Denver, Colorado.

Currently in my Junior year.

Its a relatively small school (6k Undergrads)

Beautiful campus

Incredible Business School

People party hard

People blaze, but not as much as you would think being colorado and all. DU is a private school, and therefore attracts a lot of preppy rich kids who can't handle a hit of weed without bugging out, however with that said, I still toke a bit, and have great a time with awesome friends.

Highly suggest visiting if your going to apply.

Word thanks man. Ya I'm more on the preppy side but I smoke a good amount. I feel like it's a good fit. I visited last year and liked it and they're doing a presentation at my school tomorrow

OP go to CO, I hear its great there, it just rains in the PNW, and the rumors of snow in Utah and Montana are just rumors.
 
Look at the U of Utah. i may be transferring there next year for my major purposes.

I currently go to CU Boulder.

The campus is absolutely beautiful

The People are also beautiful

The party Scene is A+

Awesome buisness school

You get Breckenridge, Keystone, Vail, Copper, plus about 20 other resorts all within reason

You get Denver if you're craving a city vibe every once and awhile

and you could easily toke when you like within reason.

i like it.

 
Ya I heard boulders pretty sick. And Cali is so far. I've looked at Santa Barbara but nothing really other than that.
 
what didn't you like about michigan? its a great school, and with a 32 on the ACT its possible to get in out of state. i think my friend had the same (if not similar) score. hes a freshman right now.
 
but actually im in the same boat as you... live 30 min from chicago, 3.2 gpa 33 act looking at denver, boulder, indiana, wisconsin, illinois, msu, and miami ohio
 
You leaning towards the colorado schools more? I am for sure. But ya I hate u of I it's so damn ugly haha
 
This. UA fits all your qualifications and you won't pay a cent for tuition. They're doing pretty dandy at football too
 
I obviously would prefer to go to denver or boulder, but the question is what kind of education ill be getting there
