College help (SLU or LC)

so the deadline is coming up and i need to make a deposit for either St. Lawrence University or Lewis & Clark College.

if anyone has gone to either school, i would like to hear about your experiences as a student, and how much you skied.

keep in mind that I'm from new york about 2 hours from St Lawrence
 
go to SLU, that way if you have major problems with it when you get there, you arent across the country. if you still want to go westward after freshman year and you know you can handle it, you can always transfer. but its probably better to start closer to home.
 
If it was strictly academic... maybe St. Lawrence. Private liberal arts schools are generally a total rip off, so fuck that shit. Considering what Utah and the mountain west has to offer, that might be a better all-around choice.
 
Pardon me, I misread slu for slc.

Anyway, Portland and the PNW are a hell of a lot better than the east coast. So there.
