College food and your digestive system

yeah when I moved outa my house and started going to college within 6 months I had acid reflux disease a stomach and esophagus litered with ulcers and some strange rash ohh well

yea man, when i was in steamboat i lsot like 2o pounds cuz of that shit. i was eating like crazy but their food was made so cheap and with so much oil, it jsut slipped right out my ass 30 minutes later. i actually got kicked out of college for complaining aobut the food. i had a little fit, but it wasn't kicking me out worthy. i was so fed up with it, i felt like i had no energy all the time. none the less, there is no way you can change how your college food is made, they try to be the cheapest they can, and obviously it shows.

Damn kids yoy need to go to Bowdoin, best college food in the country. When I was there, we had pulled roasted pork with ahi tuna and hawaiian rice one night along with warm roast beef and pastrami grilled sandwiches on rye for lunch preceeded with pancakes with fresh blueberrys and strawberries and whip cream and fresh vermont maple syrup. Those were just the things I chose to eat that day.

well, i go to a private christian (not catholic) college, less than 1000 students, and we ahve the food catered in, sooooooo good

^I decided not to go, it was too small for me, but supposedly the big east coast places are like an hour and a half away. I think they've got a team, but it's just racing. I'm from Cali, so I don't know about east coast skiing at all, but word on the street is it's a pretty hot place to be if you like the snow.

Oh yeah, and you also get January off every year, so think of the skiing you could do for a whole month during the winter with no classes to go to.

I don't actually go to college but have eaten college food for 4 weeks total and I thought it was delecious. Sometimes I wonder what the food ladies where thinking when they threw some food in teh oven and poured oil on it, but otherwise the main dishes were good. Not to mention you can always have salad, cereal, sandwhiches, pizza, and other assortments in replacement of the main dish.

colleges purposely put in smal amounts of laxative in the food so that if you get food poisoning it comes out quick.

my food rocks here, i have the best pizza, and they have curried lamb some nights and roast beef, and rotisserie chicken, and fresh salads with homemade dressing and they have a mongolia grill tipw aset-up qwhere you pile shit onto a plate and they grill it for you on a big hot plate, it's soo sweet, and all you ca neat

hey i looked at bowdoin too...rad school and great academics...but yeh, real small and there isn't much to Brunswick at all...that place is pretty quiet.....the food there was sweet when i visited.....food here (occidental college) isn't bad at all...the problem with college food is that you eventually run out of options and get stuck on 3 different things you like...i'm already tired of one of the places we have on campus for dining...college food rips you up too, especially if you are eating the same things 2-3 times a week...you'll adjust, or just get off campus and find alternatives.
